September is Hunger Action Month®, and we’re excited to harness the power of community all month long to help feed our neighbors experiencing hunger.
At Food Bank of the Rockies, we take action against hunger in our community every day, week, and month of the year. And with September being Hunger Action Month®, we’re extending this call to action to each of you: our valued and dedicated supporters. Whether it’s through a monetary donation or the donation of time through volunteering, every dollar and hour counts in answering the challenge.

“It brings life into perspective. We don’t have everything we want, but we have what we need. You see people that are just so grateful. For me, I’m more grateful just to see them.” - Brian, a volunteer with EverGreen Boxes™, a program of Everyday Eats.
One way Food Bank of the Rockies provides our neighbors with nutrient-rich fruits and vegetables is through the FRESH Program, which supplies Hunger Relief Partners with an average of over 790,800 pounds of produce at no cost every month, much of which comes from local agricultural partners.
The excitement of heading back to school for some kids is overshadowed by a heavy reality: not having enough to eat. Food Bank of the Rockies’ Food for Kids programs are dedicated to ensuring every kid has enough to eat so they can embrace their childhood without worrying about food.
