Reflecting on a year of growth and innovation to rise to the challenge of hunger

There has never been such a thing as a “normal year” in the world of food banking, but the challenges presented to us recently have been nothing short of extraordinary. Yet in the midst of historic inflation, a significant decrease in food provided by the federal government and a rise in need for our services, Food Bank of the Rockies continued to adapt and innovate to meet the needs of our neighbors. Join us in looking back at a few of the moments that stood out this past year.

Thanks to your generous support, in fiscal year 2023 we were able to distribute nearly 82 million pounds of nutritious food to our neighbors in Colorado and Wyoming experiencing hunger. That’s the equivalent of more than 66 million meals helping individuals, families, and communities thrive.

And that’s just the start. Explore all the ways you helped provide hope and enabled Food Bank of the Rockies to further our mission of igniting the power of community to nourish people facing hunger in our Fiscal Year 2023 Annual Report

As we continue to adapt to meet the needs of our neighbors and bolster the work being done to address the root causes of hunger, we take steps toward a more equitable future. Thank you for joining us on this journey.

Sincerely,

Erin Pulling

President & CEO

P.S. Anyone can find themselves in need of food assistance during their lifetime, and, thanks to your support, Food Bank of the Rockies will be there to answer the challenge of hunger and nourish our communities. Please give today to continue helping neighbors experiencing hunger during these challenging times.
