There has never been such a thing as a “normal year” in the world of food banking, but the challenges presented to us recently have been nothing short of extraordinary. Yet in the midst of historic inflation, a significant decrease in food provided by the federal government and a rise in need for our services, Food Bank of the Rockies continued to adapt and innovate to meet the needs of our neighbors. Thanks to your generous support, in fiscal year 2023 we were able to distribute nearly 82 million pounds of nutritious food to our neighbors in Colorado and Wyoming experiencing hunger. That’s the equivalent of more than 66 million meals helping individuals, families, and communities thrive.
